This all-white two-door beauty was at the Vancouver Auto Show and it was built by Jellybean Autocrafters in Surrey. I’ve written a list of what’s all been done. Here are a few highlights. An all-aluminum 427 ZL1 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic with 3.73 posi rear-end, dual adjustable shocks the quality on this build when seen up close, is awesome.
Now onto the classic stuff. This car started out as a “348 3 on the tree”. Which essentially meant the 348 cubic inch engine with a 3-speed manual transmission and the 3-speed was a column shift. Unlike today’s cars where the shifter is on the floor. The column shift was converted to paddle- shift. (Which is simply cool!)
I wanted to do a piece on this car. Because it’s my dad’s favorite. And it is also one of the rarest Chevrolet bodies ever made. 1961 was the only year made with the back window looking the way that it looked. 1960 and 1962 were different than the 61 models.

    1966 Jaguar E-Type Convertible Black

This is a quick one. over the next couple weeks, you’re going to see more posts of pictures from the Vancouver auto show that I attended at the end of March. There were so many beautiful cars there. As well as many awesome trucks, motorcycles, SUVs and more.
It seems like destiny that the first car I saw coming in off the elevator happened to be one of my dream cars. A 1966 Jaguar E-Type convertible.
Jaguar in the 60s and the 70s seemingly couldn’t miss with their styling but this 1966 convertible is truly art on wheels.

  • 1974 Mini Cooper

    1974 Mini Cooper

I simply think The original Mini Cooper is one of the coolest cars ever built. Like EVER!

That’s why I was so pumped when I ended up going by it on my way home. The owner was having dinner across the street and saw me take a picture. I waved at him and after a few awkward hand signals I figured out it was his.

Of Course, I had to go talk to him. The owner’s name is Cylus ( I hope I am spelling that correctly). He has owned this beauty for six years.

Not much for needs to be said. It’s just cool.

Here are some fun facts about Mini Cooper.

The original Mini was a line of British small cars manufactured by the British Motor Corporation, and its successors. Their models included the Morris Mini-Minor and the Austin Seven, the Countryman, Moke, 1275GT and Clubman.[6] Performance versions of these models used the name Cooper, due to a partnership with racing legend John Cooper. The original two-door Mini continued in production until 2000. Development of a successor began in 1995 and the new generation car was launched in 2001. The current Mini range includes the Hardtop/Hatch/Convertible (three-door hatchback), Clubman (estate), Countryman (five-door crossover), Coupe/Roadster and Paceman (three-door crossover based on the Countryman).

The Mini was originally a product of the British Motor Corporation, which in 1966 became part of British Motor Holdings. British Motor Holdings merged with Leyland Motors in 1968 to form British Leyland.[6] In the 1980s, British Leyland was broken-up and in 1988 Rover Group, including Mini, was acquired by British Aerospace.[6] In 1994, Rover Group was acquired by BMW. In 2000, Rover Group was broken up by BMW, with BMW retaining the Mini brand. Thanks, Wikipedia (Here’s the link to Wikipedia)
